I've been to two celebrations of life there. So there is sadness attached to my experiences. However, there is a beautiful view from the facility that accommodates 150-200 people. They serve delicious food and have two, large, full-service bars. It's a perfect place for any event. Easy to find and ample parking, with valet service available.

I was a dinner guest last night of my best friend's Aunt and a couple of her very special family members.  It was delightful, the ambiance was fantastic and the food exquisite. The whole experience from Reception to Flag Room staff was tremendous!

What a great Marina to spend some time. We were met at the dock by Ray and he couldn't have been more helpful. We had lunch at the pool, did our laundry, walked to the farmer's market (Saturday morning) and enjoyed meeting some of the members. Very friendly club! Thank you for your hospitality.

We read the reviews and thought the visitor per ft. slip rate too good to be true at a yacht club!!! Called and Ray took our reservation, but we had to adjust it a day due to weather - Ray was completely accommodating. Both Ray and we kept in touch the next day about our arrival and when we got there, he was waiting at the transient dock to assist us. He then registered us and gave us a complete tour of the yacht club. HRYC is the oldest east coast yacht club still in its original site and has a rich history for which they had a wonderful display in the clubhouse. The club is absolutely beautiful! They have a pool, Tiki bar, a super clean shower, and ALL of the people there are very friendly. We were treated like royalty. They only have room for three transient boats so calling for a reservation is a good idea. A stop here is a must!!!

Great experience! Scott, the dockmaster, helped us tie up and gave us a nice tour of the club. Everyone on the staff is friendly and welcoming. The food and service at the restaurant was outstanding. There is also a nice tiki bar at the swimming pool that had lunch specials. A must stop in Daytona

Nothing bad to say about Halifax River Yacht Club.  Live entertainment on Friday night was great.  The crowd was happy and the entire place was buzzing.  The menu is second to none. Food presentation and taste were extraordinary.  Service excellent. Sitting on the Halifax River on a warm evening just made my week.  Members enjoyed talking about the history of this 125 year-old club.

I was there for a meeting. We had many more people show up than had made reservations. The 3 girl wait staff was excellent; some of the hardest workers I've seen. I was in the restaurant business many years. The kitchen staff also was able to accommodate us and provide enough food for all. Just a really outstanding job by all the staff!!

Wonderful members club with a pool and tiki bar in addition to formal dining room. Special events aimed at children for holidays, including a visit from Santa and pumpkin carving.
