• The 2024 FCYC East Coast Pickelball Tournament was held on  October 26th with Smyrna Yacht Club (SYC) winning all 3 divisions. (Women, Men, Mixed) Twenty Teams competed, 9 from HRYC 11 from SYC.  Due to injury and availability, half our teams were put together just a few days prior and were still a very competitive force..  This is good news!  We have a deepening bench of competitive players. 
• Our Pickleball population is growing.  A good example being Sunday play.  Over the last 2 months we have had "35" plus players on four different Sundays and once on Thursday!  This is good news however presents challenges such as waiting time and congestion especially around court 1. To alleviate congestion you can expect experimentation in paddle holder location and seating areas.  As far as "play time duration",  playing to "Nine" or rally scoring could offer some relief to waiting times.
