Erisson Rafael Billy Masters Silver Jerry Sauers Scott Richardson Gold Medals

Well done to the Players & Volunteers of the 2025 Vlasic Classic Rumble on the River.!

To the players: That was the best competition in each division and in each medal category I have witnessed at either SYC or HRYC Courts.

To the Volunteers, you all stayed on task and delivered a player friendly and spectator enhanced experience. 8 Mens, 8 Women, & 16 Mixed Teams played in this tournament from start to finish in 3 hours and 40 minutes! This happened due to the coordinated effort of our Courts and Bracket Manager Sheryl Moser assisted by, Ginny Ladesic, Vicki Schammel coordinating with our neutral member and emcee from SYC Ginny Stephens and our spotters, David Bly and Frankie, on each court running results to the court manager.
Pat Alekson, and Gracie made sure no one went hungry.

In my opinion the Referees Brenda & D'Ann elevated the tournament and showmanship (in spite of my earning a "foot fault")

Results summary:

18 points were possible (Three Gold = 9, Three Silver = 6. Three Bronze = 3)

9 Medals were awarded in all:

HRYC brought home 4 of those 9 worth 8 points:

1 Gold to Scott Richardson & Jerry Sauers, (Mens)

2 Silver Medals. one set to Billy Masters & Erisson Rafael (Mens) and one set of Silver to Jerry & Debs Sauers (Mixed)

1 Bronze to Linda Richardson & Vilma Johnson in Womens

Each one of us HRYC members should be very proud of our venue and the hospitality we provided our guests from SYC. We have raised the bar, that bar will be held February 7th, 2026 at SYC.
